Women Build 2010 will be sponsoring Mayra Molina and her son Dominic in the second of the townhouses that will complete the Debbie Street subdivision. Mayra is a graduate of McMinnville High and has worked for United Finance for more than 4 years. Mayra is surrounded by family who wish to support her. Mayra’s parents actually built their own home with Yamhill Community Development Corporation when she was in the fifth grade. While she remembers the good times her parents had while putting in their sweat equity, Mayra says she never would have considered applying to own a home herself were it not for encouragement from her mother. She is excited that the wait of selection is now over and has expressed how much she would encourage other families to seize the opportunity to partner with Habitat.
